Bradley Performance debut at Donington Park: Double Podium Success in the Porsche Club Championship

Bradley Performance took on the iconic Donington Park GP circuit from Thursday, September 12th to Sunday, September 15th, competing in the Porsche Club Championship with our Porsche Boxster 3.2S in the AM class. The weekend saw a mix of dry and wet conditions, with our team and driver rising to the challenge and delivering strong results.

Thursday was a test day under a sunny sky and dry conditions. The car ran faultlessly, and our AM driver made steady improvements throughout the sessions, managing to shave off an impressive two seconds from the morning to the afternoon sessions. It was a promising start, with the team’s hard work paying off in the car’s performance. With no official race or qualifying on Saturday, we used the time to focus on final preparations and strategies for race day.

Sunday morning began with qualifying at 9 am. This weekend was the first time many drivers had run on slick tyres, which led to a spread-out field in the AM class. Our driver secured a strong P2 position on the grid for Race 1. In dry conditions, Race 1 saw our AM driver make a clean start, avoiding contact at the first corner.

There were exciting battles for positions throughout the race, particularly among the top three drivers. After a competitive drive, we finished in second place, marking a strong start to the day’s racing.

The weather took a turn for Race 2, as rain soaked the track, forcing a switch to wet tyres. Despite the challenging conditions, our driver took the lead off the start. However, with grip levels fluctuating and the wet track proving difficult, we eventually crossed the line in second place once again. It was a great effort in tough conditions, and we were pleased to secure another podium finish.

Overall, it was a fantastic first weekend for Bradley Performance in the Porsche Club Championship. The car’s faultless performance reflected the dedication and meticulous preparation by our team. We’re thrilled with the results and look forward to continuing our push for success next season. Stay tuned for more updates about the next 2025 season!
